A Day out at a Medieval Market in the Spain, Some of the stalls showing off all their Talents ,in home made items of all shades and colours.

A Great Day Out At a Medieval Market In Spain on Easter Weekend 2007

We enjoyed a lovely day out in a Medieval Market close to where we live in Spain, the weather threatened us with rain but luckily it stayed fine and the sun came out. This part of the country we live in, does get Rain this time of year as Easter is a busy time with Spanish fiesta's, but sadly it always rains, usually the first rains of the spring, then it clears into the summer mode right through in to October.Look at some of the fine goods that they were selling, some known to us and some strange.

Family enjoying looking at the diferent crafts beeing made and sold

A Glass Blower Maker in the process of completing a Glass Scent Bottle

This fine art is still being used today and it is a pleasure to watch the skilled men working their trade in such a way.Glass making has took on a different role now but but in the medieval days it was a growing trade, and one to be admired.Today it is mainly done with machines, but even today, you still need the expert glass make around to finish the article

Where is the broom ?

Stalls laid out with all their fine articles for show and sale

Time for a medieval Barbecue..MMmmmmmmmmmm!

,
all this type of burners use orange wood, and the smell is gorgeous,it makes you want to go and eat whats on offer.

Having fun enjoying the Medieval Theme !!

The band plays on as these jugglers march around as they would have done in medieval times playing to the crowds and pulling all sorts of strange faces.Generally having fun in the Medieval Times

These strange faces must have been so terrifying in Medieval days

Another truly amazing art:- Birds of Prey

This old art is still well practiced to day and has become very expensive, so only the ones who can afford such a beautiful pastime engage in this great treat.Theses birds here were massive the eagle owl stood so stall i could not believe it's size, if you ever get a chance to go and see a display then do it, you will not be disappointed.
